History

1930, LUCA TAMPONI
In the 30’s Luca Tamponi implanted a 48-employee factory in Calangianus. This factory, first in its kind, was fully commited to cork grinding, which was marketed even abroad.

1976, SUGHERIFICIO GALLURA LANGHE S.N.C.
In the 70’s Luca’s sons Pietro, Gavino and Giovanni Battista initiated the factory to natural cork stoppers production. The idea of a perfect marriage between the territory where cork was produced, Sardinia (Gallura) and one of the most important, historically devoted italian region as regards winemaking, Piedmont (Langhe), was then born. During the years, the cork factory goes through a process of growth and development, working in close collaboration with enologists coming from the most important italian wine-producing institutions.

2010, GALLURA LANGHE CORKS S.R.L.
